Our Team
Belinda
Stonyfield has been in our family for generations, but it was my husband Michael who kept encouraging us to plant a vineyard. When he died in 2010, it seemed a perfect memorial to see his vision through. Our first harvest was picked in 2013.
Halfpenny Green
Martin, Clive and Ben advise us on viticulture, and work their magic on the grapes to make the wine. Slowly we are learning about the process, and together we finesse the end result.

There’s a lot of satisfaction in taking a field that we have never really known what to do with - pigs, wild flower seed and grazing in the past - and using it to produce such a high quality and award-winning product.

The newest, and definitely the liveliest, member of the team.
Prue
Being so so conscious of the weather and seasons, and knowing that they, more than you, control the outcome of your project, is an entirely new experience for all of us. It’s a challenge.
The family
In time we hope to provide a picture of our four ‘children’. All of whom help (sometimes reluctantly) in the work of the vineyard. However, at the moment it is impossible to get all four together. We’ll be celebrating with the rest of the country when it becomes possible for us all to meet.
